Namesake & spirit of the house

The painter Franz Feuchtl

The name of our house comes from the Austrian painter Franz Feuchtl (1914–2007), whose personality and paintings have profoundly shaped the atmosphere of the villa. He only began to paint at the age of 78 and created more than 700 poetic, colourful works. Some of them are still on display in our rooms today.

How much does a furnished room at Haus Feuchtl cost?

A single room costs between € 600 and € 700 per month, a two-room apartment from € 990 per month – all inclusive. The price covers all running costs such as heating, electricity, hot water, Wi-Fi, use of the washing machine and dryer and a monthly cleaning. There are no hidden costs.

How long can I rent – is there a minimum stay?

Our furnished rooms and apartments are rented from a minimum stay of two months up to several years. Shorter stays are possible on request. There is no agency commission and no deposit.

Where is Haus Feuchtl and how far is it to Vienna?

Haus Feuchtl is located at Berggasse 11 in 3002 Purkersdorf, right on the western edge of Vienna in the Vienna Woods. By suburban train (S-Bahn) or car you reach the centre of Vienna in about 20 minutes. The Purkersdorf-Zentrum station is just a 5-minute walk away.

What is included in the rent?

Everything is included: heating, electricity, hot water, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, free use of the shared kitchen, washing machine, dryer and ironing station, the garden as well as a monthly room cleaning with linen and towel change. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Who is Haus Feuchtl suitable for?

Are pets allowed and is smoking permitted?

Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated. Haus Feuchtl is also a strictly non-smoking house.
